Geyserland Junior Golf Club

Futures Geyserland.

Geyserland Junior Golf Club has been rebranded to Futures Geyserland!

The decision was made to become a junior hub under the NZ Golf model and get the support and resources from NZ Golf to help grow the original junior golf club concept set up by the three courses in Rotorua.

We think the guidance and support we will get under this model will ensure that the children who are already members of GJGC and potential members will get more opportunities to progress and grow as junior golfers with clearer pathways.

To celebrate this rebrand we are holding a launch on Sunday 13th October 2019 at Rotorua Golf Club from 2-5pm.

This will be a fun filled afternoon with chances to give golf a go and fun activities for the whole family.

Futures Geyserland caters for children from the age of 5 – 19 years.

The launch is FREE and everyone is welcome!

You will be able to join Futures Geyserland on the day if you are keen to take up the sport of golf.

Please contact Sue if you would like more information 027 2010 940.

A community based virtual golf club

The Geyserland Junior Golf Club (GJGC) is made up of three local courses joining together to grow junior golf in the region. We are a virtual club meaning that juniors become a member of the GJGC but are still active members at all the clubs involved.

We will soon be into term 4 2019 so if you have any child interested in golf 18 years or younger please contact us. They can attend after school coaching and start to play in our play days and tournaments.

Tournaments-throughout the year we will run fun based tournaments and some more serious ones. These will include a championship for the GJGC, Individual club comps, mini putt comps, parent and child events and lots lots more. Look out for the 2019/2020 schedule of events.

These clubs include:

The Rotorua Golf Club

The Springfield Golf Club

Lakeview Golf Club

To help make better people through golf in the Rotorua community

We know as golfers what wonderful life skills golf can teach young New Zealanders. These skills are grown through learning the game of golf, playing with many different people and working with the positive etiquettes of the game.

Some of the traits are as follows:

Self Confidence

Team work

Plus many many more.
